Australia Day Rapid Tournament

Our first tournament of the year, the Australia Day Rapid Tournament was an absolute blast! 

Being the first time we have run an event this weekend, we didn't know what to expect but the chess players turned out in force, especially those coming off the Classical component of the main tournament. 

In the end we had 70 competitors, ranging from primary school students in their first tournaments, parents making their debut and 15 players over 1500 ACF. 

Results of the tournament are below and hopefully we see everyone for our next event on the calendar, The Hobart Chess Cup, 23rd of February at Princes Street Primary.
