James, our Head Coach and Owner, is extremely dedicated to raising the profile of chess and making it a popular game for children. He wants to see every age and ability playing and enjoying their chess. 

We offer an all-inclusive chess service, from teaching the very basics and participating to offering state and development leagues for your child to take their game to the next level. We also offer an equipment that a budding chess player needs, to make Black Square Chess a one-stop chess store.
