Australia Day Chess - 2026

Once again, the Australia Day Rapid tournament was a great start to the year of Tasmanian Chess Events. 

Thanks again to Guilford Young College for being our great host for this tournament!

Here are our top 35 players of the day and we had an absolute wildcard from Sydney come in and steal the show!

The 2027 Version will be just after Tasmania hosts the Australian Junior Championships in Hobart!
